Pick up

Our drivers will pick you up from your hotel. Akyaka is located around 31 km from Marmaris, which is barely a 30-minute drive. All our tour guides are professional and licensed by ministry of tourism and culture. They will join you on the whole tour and answer your questions about topics you would like to know more about.

Lovers road

We will stop at a beautiful road, surrounded by Eucalyptus trees for a short photos break. This road is also called, “lovers road”, because of its love stories. It is believed that when you walk along this road, you will fall in love with the person walking next to you. Also, the scenery is romantic and is often used for wedding photos.

Rock tombs

In ancient times, when Akyaka was called Idyma, wealthy people were buried in chambers cut out of a huge rock. We would like to show you the burial place of six kings. These rock-cut tombs date back to Hellenistic times. You will be informed about them by our friendly guides.

Boat trip

We will have a short boat trip on the Azmak River. One side of the river is full of high reeds, and on the other side are restaurants. The water is so clean and crystal clear; you just want to jump in. But the temperature of the water is between 4 and 8 degrees because the snow of the mountains melts into this river. The cold water doesn’t seem to bother the animals that live in this area. You can see salmon trout, ducks, flamingos, turtles and many birds.

Sandy beach

After a short drive to Akyaka Town, we will spend some time on the beach. You will have two hours to swim in the sea, walk around in the streets of Akyaka or buy souvenirs in the handicraft shops at the boulevard. Akyaka is known for its traditional houses built in an uncommon style. The architecture is in harmony with the climate, environment and cultural background of Turkey.
