In groups of six, people can then hop into rafts, along with a guide each, and begin paddling down the river. The first leg of the journey will be quite calm, and is best utilized in practicing the handling of the raft. The scenery around is quite amazing. Take time to swim and relax. The second half of the trip is where you will encounter rapids and wilder torrents. For those who have rafted before, this is where all the fun is. For beginners, the guides will help negotiate the waters. When you reach the finish line, a delicious lunch will be waiting for you.
