Antalya is not near enough from Marmaris to visit for a day. The distance between Marmaris and Antalya is 215 km. The road distance is 319 km. The cheapest way to travel from Marmaris to Antalya is by bus, which costs 50 – 90 Liras. It takes approximately 6 and a half-hour to get there.

If you are lucky you might find a cheap plane ticket in low season. Antalya has an airport but Marmaris does not. The nearest airport is located in Dalaman, which is 90 km from Marmaris. From there you will have to travel another 1 hour and 30 minutes to your destination.

The quickest way to get from Marmaris to Antalya is to drive which takes about 4 and a half-hour. You can drive your own car or rent one from a rent-a-car company. There is a difference between the minimum age to drive and the minimum age to rent a car in Turkey. Anyone aged 18 or older with a valid driver’s license can drive a car. Nevertheless, you must be at least 21 years of age and in possession of a valid driver’s license to rent a car.
